Bilingual Sponsor Services Phone Liaison

Unbound is seeking a bilingual phone liaison for our Sponsor Services department. This position represents Unbound by phone (inbound and outbound), email, mail, and instant messaging. It addresses the concerns and interests of sponsors and donors and nurtures the sponsor experience with Unbound. This position must provide excellent customer service. It serves sponsors and/or donors in both English and Spanish.

Incumbent must have 3+ years of customer service experience, excellent customer service skills and experience with proven results. Incumbent must possess the ability to listen to clients and resolve concerns while maintaining composure and professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and excellent writing skills. The position requires the ability to multitask (talk on the phone and type on the computer at the same time), work on a team and be a team player while working independently, understand and follow through on instructions, type 45 to 50 wpm and have strong computer skills in a Windows environment. Fluency in English and Spanish required as position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, 3+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred qualifications: College degree preferred.

Facilities Coordinator

This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating general maintenance, repairs, and remodeling of construction projects for property in conjunction with the Service Center Manager.

This position is also responsible for emergency action planning, maintenance of recycling and designated equipment. This position acts as support for the overall Service Center department when required.

Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; One year certificate from a college or technical school preferred or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The candidate should possess the following:

  • Must have the ability to work with a variety of individuals with a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • Demonstrate mechanical ability and possess construction techniques.
  • Ability to understand and follow through on instructions.
  • Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
  • Possess basic computer skills in a Windows environment: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Professional attitude and work habits.
  • In-depth understanding of and belief in Unbound's mission, values, principles and concepts of sustainable structures in Unbound sponsorship programs.
  • Desire to work in service of the poor.

Preferred qualifications: Database experience, experience working with other cultures.
